What Am I Doing Recently?

            I believe in Karma. I am happy and angry at the same time when I play Dota. Its important to have a nice friends around that I can trust. I am interested in basketball. What no one realizes me about me is I'm not a quitter ! My destiny is being succesful.

Who Will Sefa Become?

             In my twenties I hope to achieve work for a good school. In my thirties I want to buy a house and a nice car. In my forties I want to become a father!  The goals I have include will be done! I am worried about my future because life is full of surprises. I am confident that I have a great family that supports me in every kind of problem that I will face. I feel uncertain of my graduation date :D because I'm a lazy person when it comes to study. I know for sure that I will graduate from this university.

Once Upon A Time Sefa

           When I was little I remember that my mother forcely make me to write dream diaries just after I woke up, as a child of course I hated to do this but now me and my mom reading them and now I have an evidence of what I was seeing in my dreams when I was a child, Its 'precious'. My childhood generally AWESOME because I was the only child in my humble family, because I got all the credits, presents, love ^^ I always find schoold boring, because there was nothing for me there. The best teacher I ever had was Bülent hoca, because he  made me realize that a teacher can not only teaches but also with your side just like a sincere friend. The worst teacher I have had was Zeynep hoca! She literally works in the school for salary, she even deceived our parents and give us private lectures with money. The best thing anyone has said to me "You're the best!" because I love being motivated, praised. I am proud that I am really good at basketball.

        The greatest lesson I learned was NEVER underestimate somone, I learned it when I was 11 years old. The wisest thing anyone ever told me was "Dont give them fish, teach them how to prey on a fish" thats the reason why I want to be a teacher.

Who Am I?

          Hey guys! My name is Sefacan Yeşilyaprak. I was born in one of the best historical places in the meditterian region, Tarsus / MERSİN.  I'm a Turkish citizen and I'm proud of it! I am student at METU NCC and studying TEFL program because I want to be a teacher that contributes to future. What I like about my studies is I move one step ahead everyday to my goal which is becoming a succesful teacher. What I dislike about my studies is I can't improve my English decently. I'm saving up my spare times for sports and doing exercise helps me with the stress. My home is in Mersin, and I have been living there for ten years, before Mersin, I was living in Tarsus.


        My favourite activity is playing basketball and Dota(a computer game), I love to do those things because you can completely focus on these things when you are playing, and trust me concentrate on something completely is like a therapy. I love to say  and most over-using it is"kanka" which means buddy in Turkish because thats the word that I use to my beloved friends, just like brothers. (because I dont have any brother & sister). My favorite meals involves any-kind of PROTEIN! and my favourite snack is "Hoşbeş" with cocoa flavour. The people supports me most is my friends because at the moment they are physically and mentally here for me and they're kind of like my family in this island. The best time of the day for me is sunset because I love watching the setting of the sun. My greatest inspiration is one of my best teacher Bülent Hoca. My all-time role modal is my father because he taught me to always looking from the optimistic side. I would like to be like my Bülent Hoca'm! because he's the best teacher I have ever encountered.
       

Do teachers actually make a difference to society?

         The answer is DEFINATELY yes! Education is the most important thing in this life, I don't believe that there are intelligent, super-clever people with extraordinary high IQ. In my point of view, these are all about environment and education. In history great people either educated themselves with their opportunities or educated by a person, but the ones who educated by a qualified person were more successful. Everything in this life begins with luck, even our birth. At the very first day of our lives nearly everything settled already. We could open our eyes into a wealthy family or we can feel the chilling breeze on our skin at a winter night in a suburban house without a roof. And the only miracle that can help and contributes our life is EDUCATION and who can be our luck at this point? EDUCATORS - TEACHERS. Society's material are people, actually there are no "good behaviour" or "bad behaviour" in this life. There are behaviours that society approves and there are behaviours that society does not and without behaving decently you can not shelter in that society . The decent behaviours that society approves are determined by education, but how? A human being cannot be an individual in a blink of an eye there is an essential process for this creation, and this creation starts with childhood, which means maybe the most important step in this educational journey is our first teacher. The first social environment that a child will encounter is school, no one can deny that statement "first impression is important" as a teacher candidate I think the key of acceptance in society lays in here, children do what they see , as a good teacher we have to give them an excellent scenery. By shaping this future little brains, teachers DIRECTLY make a differance in the society.
